Arup picks TSK for Manchester office design

Salford Quays-based TSK Group has been appointed by engineering and property consultancy Arup to design and deliver its new office in Manchester.

Arup recently agreed a lease for 20,000 sq ft of office space at Carlye Group's 3 Piccadilly Place, relocating from St James' Building on Oxford Road.

Keith Rudd, director and head of Arup's Manchester office, said: "The relocation has been a major decision, driven by the growth and breadth of services we now offer across a range of sectors. As an employee-owned firm, it's important we have the right environment to attract and retain the best people, to enable us to continue to deliver great work for our clients. TSK demonstrated a good understanding of the culture of our firm, our aims and goals and has translated this into an environment that reflects both the needs of our people and clients."

Andy Burke, director of TSK, added: "Our appointment by Arup is further evidence that our philosophy of creating great workplaces designed for occupiers to deliver their business objectives is key. Arup is a great organisation for us to be partnering with and again we see an organisation looking to transform and attract the best talent and deliver excellence to their customers; this workplace will enable them to do so."

Arup is due to complete its move at Easter.
