Triton opens North West office

Yorkshire-based contractor Triton Construction has opened a North West office in Warrington as it targets expansion in the region.

The North West office will be the company’s first office outside its headquarters in Liversedge, West Yorkshire.

Triton has taken space at Ascot House on Trident Business Park, and currently has nine staff based at the office.

The company, which has a turnover of £38.6m, was founded in 2005 and delivers projects between £500,000 and £10m.

Schemes the firm has worked on include a new office for Bradford’s Chamber of Commerce; a 53-bed new-build care home in Todmorden; and the refurbishment of the grade two-listed Unity Hall in Wakefield.

The contractor also works closely with client Whitbread to build and refurbish Premier Inns across the North.

Projects the contractor has worked on in the North West include a £1.4m Premier Inn in Runcorn, and a £1m hotel in Ormskirk.

The company hosted a “meet the buyer” event on Thursday to set up a local supply chain, based out of the Warrington office.

Managing director, Michael Parkinson, said “We have a strong presence in Yorkshire, the North East and Derbyshire run from our HQ in Liversedge. Our new North West regional office allows us a base from which we can expand across the North and increase our portfolio. Warrington was the obvious choice of location.

“These are exciting times for Triton Construction, our North West office has got off to a flying start and we’ll be announcing some new local contract wins and projects shortly.”
