FK Group appoints financial director

Altrincham-based building envelope specialist FK Group has hired Phil Norris as financial director, from steel fabrication company William Hare Group.

Norris has held various roles in finance for more than 23 years. He spent a decade at William Hare Group, the past five of which as group finance director, responsible for the company’s UK, Middle East and Indian operations.

Norris will work alongside the FK’s two managing directors, Paul Bentley and Steve Hall.

Norris said: “FK Group is going through significant growth. I have built my experience in a fast-growing business environment at William Hare and I am relishing the challenge and the opportunities ahead in helping to take FK Group to the next level.”

FK clients include McLaren, BAM, Laing O’Rourke and IDI Gazeley.

The company’s turnover was £82m for the year ending March 2017, a 16% increase on the previous period.

FK Group employs more than 180 people across offices in Altrincham, Birmingham, Doncaster, London, Newport and Dubai.
