Magnus signs insurer to Spring Gardens

Cheshire-based Magnus has secured its first office tenant for 19 Spring Gardens in Manchester city centre.
Lockton, the world 's largest independent insurance broker, is relocating from Hanover House having taken the sixth floor, totaling 5,300 sq ft on a 15-year lease at £25/sq ft.
The ground floor of 19 Spring Gardens is now home to Trevor Sorbie, the upmarket hair salon, having taken 2,700 sq ft on a 15 year lease.
Magnus is currently carrying out a £2.5m refurbishment of the 38,000 sq ft building, including a further 5,000 sq ft of retail at street level.
King Sturge and WHR Property Consultants are the retained joint letting agents for the building. Preferred Office Environments is the appointed fit out contractor.
