C2 takes Kingsway PR off FD

C2, the Leeds-based PR and advertising agency owned by former Estates Gazette sales executive Candy Shaw, has won the contract to handle Wilson Bowden's 420-acre business park in Rochdale.

The PR account was for a long time handled by FD, formerly Tamesis. C2 said it already handled work for Wilson Bowden. Other clients include Terrace Hill, Peel and Munroe K.

FD also recently lost the Cibitas contract for the massive Holt Town housing project in east Manchester to rival SKV PR.

Wilson Bowden recently applied for planning consent to build a 600,000 sq ft warehouse for JD Sports, which is vacating Segro's Heywood Distribution Park. Kingsway is a partnership with Rochdale council and the North West Development Agency.
