Roundhouse buys in Chorley

Cumbria-based Roundhouse Properties has concluded the acquisition of a trade centre in Chorley Business Centre for £410,000.

The 5,050 sq ft unit was bought from Harwood Carpets and has now been let to Howdens Joinery which already occupied the unit next door, also owned by Roundhouse.

Harold Lefton, director of Roundhouse Properties, said: "Chorley Business Centre is one of the town's most vibrant business and key employment areas being well located near to the town centre and the M61. As a business we are always striving to source quality properties that will serve our current and prospective tenants well.

"Since Roundhouse Properties acquired Unit 8 in 2005 we have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Howdens and are delighted to be have been able to provide them with the opportunity to expand their operations into Unit 9 which will ensure their business on Chorley Business Centre continues to flourish."
