JLL to manage Market Walk

Orchard Street UK Special Situations Fund has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle to manage the 103,000 sq ft shopping centre in Chorley, Lancashire.

Orchard Street acquired Market Walk in April from RREEF UK Retail Property for £22.25m.

The shopping centre is located in the centre of the town and is fully let to 33 tenants including Boots, New Look, Poundland and Iceland.

Susannah Jeffs, head of Jones Lang LaSalle's shopping centre management team in the north, said: "Market Walk provides a secure rental income from the main anchor tenants and it also offers a number of opportunities for its new owners to add value going forward. We will be working closely with Orchard Street Investment Management as they actively manage this property."
