Venmore prepares for final auction of year
Liverpool-based auctioneers Venmore will put 52 lots up for sale at its final auction of 2011 on 30 November.
There is a broad mix of residential, commercial investments and development opportunities on offer from all over Merseyside.
Geoff Guest, auction director of Venmore, said: "For our last auction of the year, we are expecting a packed auction room. We are predicting high levels of activity with the buy-to-let properties and with investors looking for better rates on their return, especially with some of the fantastic student lets we have on offer."
Among the investment properties is Lot 17, a four-bedroom terrace house in Anfield. The refurbished property has a guide price of £30,000, around £50,000 under the market value, and an estimated rental return of £6,000 a year.
Lot 34 is a former pub in Old Swan with scope for development to commercial use or apartments, or retention as a pub. The property on Prescot Road has a guide price of £130,000 to £150,000.
Guest continues; "Some properties that don't often make the auction market are luxury apartments and this auction we have two fantastic city centre ones. Lot 30 is a spacious fourth floor, two-bedroom duplex apartment situated in the John Rocha designed Hatton Garden development."
The auction will be held on Wednesday 30 November at 1.00pm in the Hilton in Liverpool One.
