Willmott Dixon reports schools wins

Willmott Dixon has won contracts to build a batch of schools for children with special educational needs worth £28m for the Education Funding Agency.

The work includes one school in St Helens, three in Liverpool and one in Wirral. The work was secured through the Academies Framework. The architects for the schemes are Aedas.

The first project to start on site will be Mill Green in St Helens which is due to complete in August 2014; the other schemes will all be completed by January 2015.

Meanwhile, Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has selected Willmott Dixon to build a low security mental health unit in Alderley Edge worth £4.4m under the P21+ Framework.
