30 up for Turleys
Planning and urban design consultancy Turley Associates, which began life in Didsbury in 1983, celebrated its 30th anniversary with a party for 170 staff and clients in Manchester's Panacea bar.
Today the firm employs 200 people in 10 offices. Turley moved from Didsbury in 2001 and now employs 45 people in One New York Street.
Dave Trimingham, director and head of the Manchester office, said: "We are delighted to be marking our 30th year of business in the North West with many valued clients and friends. The company has grown from roots in Manchester to offer a genuinely UK wide service and we continue to invest in developing and diversifying the skills our clients need to successfully promote development and regeneration."
Rob Lucas, Turley Associates' chief executive, said: "We are emerging from a challenging time for all involved in the property industry well equipped to help our clients take advantage of improving market conditions and a more positive planning regime."
