Law firm expands in Bauhaus
Irwin Mitchell has taken a further 6,000 sq ft at BlackRock UK Property Fund's Bauhaus office building in Manchester.
The law firm now occupies 30,000 sq ft over five floors within the 50,900 sq ft office building, which is part of the Rossetti Place development directly opposite Manchester's Spinningfields district.
Since the company first moved to the building in 2007, it has steadily expanded. Grahame Codd, managing partner at Irwin Mitchell, said: "We selected Bauhaus as an operational base for our Manchester team because it offered us a high quality working environment in an exciting and expanding business location right in the heart of Manchester city centre.
"We are delighted the building was able to accommodate our additional floorspace needs within a relatively small space of time since we last expanded in Bauhaus."
Will Lewis, from OBI Property, joint letting agents, said: "In terms of location, quality and value, this latest expansion by Irwin Mitchell at Bauhaus speaks volumes about the building's advantages and we are currently in detailed discussions with a number of occupiers considering committing to the building."
Quoting rents for the Bauhaus office building are £21.50/sq ft. CB Richard Ellis is joint letting on the building.
