Strong swaps Colliers for LSH
James Strong has been appointed to lead Lambert Smith Hampton’s development consultancy team.
He has joined LSH from Colliers, where he spent seven and a half years. Strong joined Colliers in 2017 as a student intern and rose through the ranks to become associate director in November 2023.
He joins LSH as a director and will work from the company’s Windmill Green office in Manchester city centre.
“I am delighted to join LSH at an exciting time to be working within the development sector,” he said. “I look forward to collaborating with LSH’s established development consultancy team across the UK and provide strategic advice to new and existing clients.”
As head of development consultancy, Strong will be part of LSH’s wider planning, regeneration and infrastructure team, which employs 100 people nationally.
He will advise public and private sector clients on a growing number of projects in the North West and beyond.
Paul Shuker, LSH’s head of planning in Manchester, added: “James’s arrival further bolsters our capabilities and reputation in the North West coupled with an exciting time for the region.
“[There are] significant levels of multi-sector investment and growth and a clear mandate from the new government to increase house building across the UK and important the north of England.”
LSH’s clients include Abrdn, Legal & General, and the MOD.
