Edwardian London has hired former RBS head of hotel finance Peter Anscomb as senior corporate director to help oversee financial management of the Manchester and London hotel portfolio.
Anscomb specialised in travel and hospitality at RBS and worked with Edwardian as a lender for 15 years.
The hotel group controlled by Jasminder Singh owns 13 Radisson Blu Edwardian properties in London, Guildford and Manchester. Edwardian recently acquired the derelict listed Theatre Royal in Manchester's Peter Street for an extension to the Radisson next door.
Anscomb said Edwardian's private ownership meant it could react quickly to local conditions and outpace larger groups in putting deals together.
