Quorum to extend Wilmslow block
Cheshire-based investment and development company, Quorum Estates, has agreed two new deals at its mixed-use scheme in Alderley Road.
Existing tenants TruKitchen and the private healthcare group, HCA, have extended their occupancy within the building taking a further 800 sq ft and 3,500 sq ft respectively.
Quorum has appointed Redbridge Interiors to extend the building by 5,000 sq ft to accommodate their requirements. When the works complete in June, the £5m building will total 23,000 sq ft.
HCA will occupy a total of 20,000 sq ft, with a new diagnostics centre, the US company's first outside London, having agreed a 15-year lease.
TruKitchen signed a five-year lease for its new 2,000 sq ft showroom.
Paul Wardle, director of Quorum Estates, said: "By carrying out a comprehensive refurbishment of the building, we have been able to create a contemporary building befitting Wilmslow Town Centre that also reflects the image of our tenants and is able to adapt to suit their requirements."
The building was recently awarded a civic award for design by Wilmslow Trust.
