Planit-IE reveals new structure, brand identity
Landscape architecture firm Planit Intelligent Environments has converted from a limited company to a limited liability partnership.
The new structure sees Ed Lister and Pete Swift taking the role of joint managing partners, with Lindsay Humblet and Andy Roberts becoming partners alongside Richard Line, formerly a director of sister company Virtual Planit. Virtual Planit will now be absorbed into the new company, trading as Planit-IE bringing the total headcount to 35 staff.
Swift said: "This is an exciting and dynamic time for us and we have high expectations for 2014. Our reason for change has been driven by our desire for the business to further flourish and grow long after we have retired.
"We have a fantastic team across our two studios in Altrincham and London, and they need to see how much they are valued and how they are the future of the business. We are a family and so our inheritance planning starts here."
Planit-IE is currently working on projects at Airport City Manchester, Liverpool Waters, and in East Manchester. It is also active on several southern projects, in Battersea, East London and the Discovery Park Enterprise Zone in Kent. Planit-IE was recently appointed by the Co-operative Estates to design and oversee the delivery of the final two phases of the NOMA estate in Manchester city centre.
Planit-IE LLP was advised by accountancy practice WNJ and law firm Weightmans.
