NWDA holds fifth Regional Tourism Conference
The North West Development Agency is holding its fifth annual Regional Tourism Conference today, with discussions on how to manage businesses during the credit crunch.
The conference, being held at the recently extended Southport Theatre and Convention Centre, includes David Edwards from VisitBritain as a keynote speaker, providing an insight into the future trends and opportunities for the tourism industry in the region.
Other guest speakers include Stuart Gillis, director of Ellesmere Port Boat Museum, Stephen Miles, general manager of the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester and Bob Prattey, chief executive of Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre.
