Zaha Hadid’s MIF concert room revealed

Images of the concert space designed by superstar architect Zaha Hadid for Manchester International Festival in July have been unveiled.

The 200-capacity room will sit within Manchester Art Gallery and remain there after the festival has finished until September. During the festival the Zaha Hadid installation will host nine performances of Johann Sebastian Bach's work for piano, violin and cello.

MIF takes place from July 2-19, 2009. Main sponsors include developer Bruntwood.
