Wirral Council has published an invitation to tender for a £3m contract to build 100 extra care homes across several sites.
The authority is looking for strategic housing delivery partners to help deliver a minimum of 100 units over a three-year period from 2014 to 2017. These could be new build, remodelled, refurbished, or a mix of all three.
Between five and eight firms will be shortlisted.
Provisional target areas for delivery are South West Wirral, Birkenhead and Tranmere and Wallasey.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 24 October. The Chest procurement system is being used.
