Whittaker moves Land Securities investment near to £300m

Peel Holdings billionaire owner John Whittaker has increased his investment in Land Securities to above 5%.

Albright Investments, a company he is involved with, announced it had taken its stake in Land Securities to 5.51%, which increased its shares to 25,638,554 from 23,200,000 to a value of £299m.

Albright Investments are now the third-largest stakeholder in Land Securities, behind Barclays and Legal & General.
