Sutton Kersh auction catalogue out

Sutton Kersh will offer 99 lots at its next auction in Liverpool on 11 September, including a residential property with views of the gates made famous in the Beatles' song Strawberry Fields Forever.

Lower Lee Lodge in Beaconsfield Road is opposite a former Salvation Army children's home known as Strawberry Fields, where John Lennon said he played as a child. The three bedroom property has a guide price of £275,000.

Cathy Holt, auction manager at Sutton Kersh said: "This is a rare opportunity to purchase an exceptional property in an iconic location. We have already had numerous enquiries from Beatles' fans both in Liverpool and from around the world who appreciate its significance."

The lots include an extended vacant three bedroom semi-detached property on Grange Avenue North in West Derby at £100,000, and Concorde House, a development opportunity in Blackpool, with a guide price of £175,000.

The property on Charnley Road comprises a former retail warehouse and has planning permission for three ground floor retail units and 15 self-contained flats in the upper floors.

Other development opportunities include Incefield House, near Wigan, which was previously used as a health clinic with office accommodation. The guide price is £110,000.

Sutton Kersh said that its proceeds for the first half of 2014 reached £21m.

The auction is scheduled to take place at the Liverpool Marriott Hotel.
