Stock calls time on Deloitte career

John Cooper is to replace Graham Stock as head of the regions planning team at Deloitte when Stock retires from the partnership at the end of May this year.

Stock, partner in the Spinningfields Manchester office, plans to set up a business selling his own brand of carbon mountain bike.

Michele Steel, head of Deloitte Real Estate North West, said: "Graham played a key role in integrating Drivers Jonas with the Deloitte business in the regions and has been a fantastic member of our planning team for 15 years. We wish him the best of luck in his new venture and look forward to the next chapter of growth and success for our planning and real estate businesses."

Cooper has been a member of the Deloitte team for 17 years. His specialism is in regional centre and major regeneration projects and he leads strategic planning for the real estate team.

Cooper said in the statement accompanying the announcement of his appointment: "My new role at Deloitte Real Estate will mark an exciting new milestone in what continues to be a motivating and rewarding experience with the business. I'm looking forward to working closely with others in the wider Deloitte team to deliver more landmark projects for the North West over the coming years."
