Sky latest to sign at Liverpool One
The TV and broadband provider is to open a 1,800 sq ft store on South John Street on Monday, its first bricks and mortar store in the UK, becoming the latest tenant to sign at the retail complex.
The Sky store will be divided into themed spaces including a dedicated customer hub and an ‘Access All Areas’ stage, hosting various interactive experiences for customers.
Tech repair firm iSmash, which currently operates 32 locations across the UK, will also have a base within the unit, previously occupied by sandwich outlet Eat.
Eat closed all of its UK stores in March 2020.
Agencies CBRE and Metis Real Estate acted for Grosvenor Europe, Liverpool One’s landlord, and Colliers International represented Sky.
Alison Clegg, director of asset management at Grosvenor Europe, said: “Sky will be a great addition to Liverpool One and further bolster our line-up. This signing, along with other recent openings at Liverpool One, highlights the continued importance of bricks and mortar presence for leading brands.”
Sky will join a series of new retail entrants at Liverpool One, including make-up brand MAC Cosmetics , British toy emporium Hamleys, and the Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand Kenji.
