Sixtwo moves into city centre

Sixtwo Architects, launched by former Stephenson Bell colleagues Nick Moss and Andrew Edmunds 12 months ago, has moved into new offices in Albion Wharf, Manchester as the fledgling studio prepares to take on staff.

Moss and Edmunds have projects on the go with Capital & Centric, Trafford Housing Trust and Realty Estates.

The pair were initially based in a caravan on site at Moss's house in Bowdon during its construction but moved into Albion Wharf last month after the house was completed.

They are currently interviewing candidates with a view to taking on two staff to keep pace with a growing order book.

Moss and Edmunds worked together at Stephenson Bell until around three years ago when Moss joined Hodder + Partners. Moss left Hodder and Edmunds left Roger Stephenson Architects last year to set up the studio together.
