Segro adds fashion retailer to Heywood

Segro has secured another tenant at its successful Heywood Distribution Park near Rochdale. Fashion retailer Hurley Menswear has taken a 5,997 sq ft unit for storage use, continuing the landlord's strong letting period which has seen 500,000 sq ft of deals since the end of last year.

The recent lettings include deals with JJB Sports, Eddie Stobart, JD Sports, Character Options and Parcelforce.

Alex Palfreyman of letting agent Savills commented: "The outstanding reputation Heywood has for security is cited as one of the main reasons why more and more companies are relocating to the park. Potential tenants are always impressed by Heywood's security record and Segro's ability to be flexible with lease terms. This has proven to be a winning formula."

King Sturge and Savills are the joint letting agents on Heywood Distribution Park.
