Schuh to open at Grand Arcade

The footwear retailer is opening its 65th stand alone store at the Grand Arcade shopping centre in Wigan in December.

Schuh has signed a 10 year lease with owners Grand Arcade Wigan on a 4,000 sq ft unit for an undisclosed rent.

John Sanson, centre manager, said: "We're looking forward to the arrival of Schuh and what it will bring to the centre. We're already trading well and Schuh will enhance the overall offer."

Redefine Spectrum Retail Management manages the 450,000 sq ft shopping centre on behalf of Grand Arcade Wigan.

Savills and Lunson Mitchenall are joint letting agents on the scheme.
