Savills' Manchester office is the latest tenant to sign up at Belvedere, the popular new base for corporates on Booth Street and Fountain Street in Manchester city centre, owned by Orchard Street Investment Management LLP.
The property surveyor has signed a 15-year lease on the 13,700 sq ft first floor of the Grade A development designed by Aedas.
Savills currently occupies three floors over the road at Fountain Court and will move its entire office incorporating commercial, residential and private finance sectors to Belvedere at the end of April 2011.
Andrew Jenkins, asset manager of Orchard Street, said: "This letting provides further testimony to the quality of Belvedere and its location within Manchester's prime office core."
Savills will join CB Richard Ellis, Watson Wyatt, Marsh Corporate Services, Arrow Global and, at ground level, Steelcase and Paragon Interiors in the 104,000 sq ft building. There is now 10,000 sq ft left to let on part of the ground and fifth floors.
