Sandbach unit sold
Garden products supplier JFH Horticultural has bought a 40,000 sq ft warehouse in Sandbach for £795,000 in an off-market deal.
WHR Property Consultants and Buckinghams Commercial acted on behalf of the vendor, a private investor.
The property is situated on a two-acre site in Lodge Road and was previously let to construction company Hemway before it went in to receivership.
JFH is moving from its current base at Herbert Street in Crewe.
Simon Hampson, partner at WHR, said: "Modern industrial accommodation on a freehold basis is increasingly scarce in this area and we able to secure this deal without even bringing the property to the market. JFH Horticultural recognised that this was a unique opportunity to acquire a freehold property that suited the company's long term business strategy."
