Royal London sells Trafford Park trading estate

Parkway Trading Estate in Trafford Park has been sold by Royal London Asset Management to local private investor, Jolivet Investments, for £4.7m.

Royal London's adviser, CB Richard Ellis, said it was the first multi-let estate to be sold in the region since summer 2008. The estate comprises 11 units totalling 125,000 sq ft and was built in the late 1970s.

Simon Wood, senior director of the North West investment team at CB Richard Ellis, said: "Securing a deal such as this is a very positive step for the regional market and goes to show that deals can be done, even in a challenging market. The North West increasingly attracts interest from national, international as well as local investors by offering quality stock and locations. We have been lucky enough to advise on a number of the acquisitions and disposals that have completed so far this year."
