Quorum acquires Wilmslow office

Quorum Estates has paid around £3m to buy 53-56 Alderley Road from private clients of Stewart Montrose.

The property comprises retail on the ground floor with 12,000 sq ft of offices above and extensive car parking to the rear. Occupiers include Bi Water and estate agents Gascoigne Halman.

Gary Scorah, investment partner at OBI Property, advising Quroum, said: "This building makes a perfect addition to Quorum's well-managed portfolio of commercial property and its South Manchester and Cheshire strength."

Paul Wardle, director of Quorum Estates, said: "This acquisition represented an ideal opportunity for Quorum to increase its office investment presence in Wilmslow. The property is well located within the town centre and benefits from excellent onsite parking as well as a high profile position."
