Promotions and new hires at GL Hearn

Planning and property consultancy GL Hearn has recruited Richard Heathcote from Crosby Lend Lease as associate director of the residential land agency team.

Heathcote was at Crosby Lend Lease for two years and previously held posts at Gleesons, Carla Finance and PJ Liveseys Group. He will be supported by a further new recruits, Kate O'Neill, a graduate in planning and development, who has been appointed as assistant surveyor.

In the planning team, Shaun Taylor has been promoted to associate, Phil Robinson to senior planner and Graham Lamb to planner. Steven Kovach has also joined as graduate building surveyor.

Mike Baker, planning director and head of GL Hearn's Manchester office, said: "These appointments are part of our growth strategy and brings the total number of people within our planning team to 12. Richard's experience on the residential development side lends itself well to his new role at GL Hearn, an area where we have seen considerable growth with housebuilders looking for new sites to bring forward."
