A seminar entitled Our City – Our Place is being held by Engage Liverpool, a group of leaseholders and residents in the city centre and waterfront, in partnership with Liverpool City Council and housing association Plus Dane Group.
The event will see a mix of residents and other key stakeholders meet to examine what makes a successful city, how stakeholders can contribute to city living and how residents can work with developers and planners to influence the future development of Liverpool city centre.
Guest speakers at the event, sponsored by law firm Hill Dickinson, will include Nigel Lee, head of planning at Liverpool City Council, John Flamson from the University of Liverpool, Bill Maynard, former director of Urban Splash and Max Steinberg, chief executive of Liverpool Vision. The presentations will be followed by workshops to give delegates the opportunity to provide feedback via a panel Q&A discussion.
The seminar takes place from 5.30pm – 8.00pm on Wednesday 22 September in Hill Dickinson's Liverpool office at No.1 St Paul's Square, Old Hall Street.
