Pinsents senior partner joins Mace & Jones

Mace & Jones, which has offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Knutsford, has appointed Peter Wood, former senior partner of Pinsent Masons, as senior counsel in its construction team.

Charles Tomlinson, head of dispute resolution and a construction specialist at Mace & Jones, said: "Peter is an industry heavyweight who brings a wealth of contacts, experience and expertise. The appointment is a clear statement of the growing stature and standing of Mace & Jones' construction team.

Wood recently led the Manchester City Council team in the B of the Bang sculpture dispute at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Mace & Jones clients include Amec, Balfour Beatty, and Ask.
