Permission secured for Moulton homes

HOW Planning has secured outline planning approval from Cheshire West & Chester Council for 70 new homes on Jack Lane in the village of Moulton near Northwich on behalf of a private landowners Karen and Mark Jones.

The proposals on the 6.9-acre site include a combination of two-, three- and four-bed houses, as well as a number of bungalows. The planning application for the scheme stated that 30% of the offering would be affordable.

The development will be provided alongside a network of green space to allow for public open space and children's play areas.

Richard Wilshaw, planner at HOW Planning, said: "It is our client's vision to create a high quality development that will deliver a mixture of house types which will attract new residents to the area. We have been very careful to ensure the masterplan takes into account the local landscape and environmental considerations."

HOW is now working with the landowner to market the scheme and find a suitable party to deliver the new development.
