NWDA seeks contractors for climate change proposals

The North West Development Agency has published a tender brief for research to form part of its Climate Change Action Plan.

The contract involves carrying out a study into "the potential for green infrastructure, including regional parks, to adapt and mitigate for climate change impacts and commence implementation of findings".

The agency also requires support for delivering its Green and Blue Space Adaptation for Urban Areas and Eco Towns project requirements, which is to be completed by 31 March 2011.

The deadline for submitting tenders is 12pm on Wednesday 14 October.
