Nexus hires Countryside planner

Jon Penrose has joined Nexus Planning from Countryside Properties as a senior planner.

Pensrose worked for two years at Countryside in Warrington, where he managed residential schemes through the planning process, including 135 homes at the former Riverside College site in Runcorn, Halton, and 282 homes at the former RAF Sealand Camp in Deeside, Flintshire.

Prior to that he spent four years as a planner with Gladman Developments.

Peter Tooher, head of the Nexus Manchester office, said: “It’s great to have Jon as part of the team and he’s already making a positive impact working on projects for a number of our clients including BXB, Hollins Strategic Land, Homes England and Countryside Properties.”

Nexus Planning is based in Manchester’s Castlefield.
