Newcomers at Croftons
Social housing specialist law firm Croftons Solicitors has announced two appointments: Eleanor Finnigan joined the firm's residential conveyancing and social housing plot sales team and Catherine Coleman the housing and regeneration team.
Finnigan joined Manchester-based Croftons from specialist residential conveyancing practice Jackson Barrett & Gass where she handled sales and purchases for clients. She has acted on behalf of lenders and regularly liaised with third parties such as mortgage brokers, matrimonial solicitors and management companies. Her role will include both conveyancing for private clients as well as plot sales for new housing schemes developed by the firm's social landlord clients and ongoing conveyancing services for them.
Coleman joined from Fruhman Davies Livingstones and has previously worked at Trowers & Hamlins, where she gained housing and regeneration experience working part-time while obtaining a first in her law degree at Salford University. At Croftons, she will work as part of the firm's 20-strong housing and regeneration team acting for social landlords at all stages of development and plot sales.

"Our investment strategy has been shaped very much by our clients' own input on the services we could expand or introduce for them. As a result, we have recruited four full-time property specialists; Danielle Gatcliffe, Helena McSharry, Eleanor Finnigan and Catherine Coleman and created a three-strong dedicated housing management and tenancy support hub team, with additional housing management team members. Our housing and regeneration team now numbers 20 people and we are continuing to recruit in property, employment and governance."
