New look for Powell Williams

Chester-based building surveying consultancy, Powell Williams, has marked 21 years in business by refreshing its corporate identity.

The new brand design and a new strap-line – Clear concise advice – are designed to "perfectly encapsulate the ethos of the firm".

The firm was restructured and converted to LLP status in 2010 and now totals six partners.

The business turned over £1.4m last year and is aiming for 7% growth this year. Andy Williams, lead partner in Chester, said: "Our commercial strategy for the coming year is 'to go for growth', securing new clients and providing additional services where appropriate to existing clients. We believe that we can buck the trend of doom and gloom forecasts in the industry by developing services that match the real needs of our clients in a challenging economic climate. We hope that the new corporate identity will better reflect the dynamic and focused approach we take, the scope and quality of service we provide, and the clear and concise nature of our advice."

The new logo is based on "a colourful representation of the many layers of building consultancy services the firm provides".

The rebrand was carried out by de Winter Design who also produced a new company website.
