National PLC sells five pubs

Surveyor Nolan Redshaw has negotiated the sale of five public houses across Greater Manchester and Lancashire on behalf of National PLC.

The properties consist of The Brookdale in Failsworth, The Blue Boar in Bolton, The New Inn and The Cricketers in Bury, and The Greyhound in Barnoldswick.

Steve Manifold, of Nolan Redshaw, said: "All of these properties have potential for alternative use, subject to gaining the necessary planning consent. These sales show that attractive properties will still sell, regardless of the economic climate."

Nolan Redshaw is retained by National PLC to market numerous public house properties across the North West.

The names of the purchasers and sale prices were not disclosed.
