Muse adds to Chester office quarter team

PR and marketing agency, Active Profile, has been appointed by Muse Developments to develop and manage a communications strategy for its £100m City Place scheme in Chester.

Active Profile was appointed following a competitive pitch and the team began working on the project earlier this month.

City Place will contain 440,000 sq ft of offices on a 3.5 acre development site next to Chester train station.

Anna Heyes, managing director of Active Profile, said: "We are very pleased to be working with Muse on this scheme, which will undoubtedly have a significant and positive impact on Chester's business community. Our team has a great deal of experience and expertise working in the city and with the Chester media so we are confident in our ability to provide positive results."

Phil Mayall, development director for Muse Developments, said: "City Place will create a vibrant and distinctive new commercial district for Chester, and is of huge strategic importance to the city and region. The appointment of Active Profile will enable the scheme to be promoted in the regional and national arena, and endorse its role as one of the most exciting developments Chester has seen."

Muse was granted planning permission for the first phase of development at City Place in March 2013. The first phase will contain a six-storey 70,000 sq ft building, which will be complemented by public realm linking it to the railway station and Shropshire Union Canal.
