Manchester shares in bumper DTZ promotions

Seven people have been promoted in DTZ's Manchester office as part of a global round of promotions involving 120 staff.

Promoted to director were Lisa Pilkington, head of human resources for investment, research, infrastructure and asset management, and Ruth Marshall, from corporate real estate management. Jo Hindle from the human resources team and Simon Lowe in investment were promoted to associate director. David Beavis, Gabrielle Donnelly and Tim Russell were promoted to senior surveyor.

Thirty six individuals were promoted across the northern region, Midlands and south west and Scotland. Mike Mitchell, Manchester-based managing director for the regions outside London, said: "In such a difficult market, the achievements of all these individuals are all the more special given how high the bar has been raised. This level of success across a wide range of sectors and skills is testament to the strength of our regional business."

In total, globally 25 staff became director, 18 moved to senior associate director and 77 individuals were promoted to associate director.
