Management changes at Sheppard Robson

Ian Butler, managing partner for the North at national architecture practice Sheppard Robson, is understood to be on 'gardening leave' after nine years at the practice.

Both parties refused to comment on the reasons behind the departure.

Sheppard Robson has worked on some of the biggest projects in the region in the past decade including Media City, Spinningfields, and major university buildings in Liverpool, Lancaster and Manchester.

Butler joined Sheppard Robson in 2005 from RMJM to head the Manchester office, now based in City Tower.
