MAG Property estates manager joins Legat Owen

Chester-based commercial surveyor Legat Owen has hired Samantha Sleigh as property manager, the second major hire in its asset management team in recent months.

Sleigh joins the team from MAG Property where she was estates manager, and her previous roles include positions at CBRE and EA Shaw, where she managed Shaftesbury’s account.

Legat Owen’s asset management team, now consisting of 12 people across two offices and headed up by director Mark Hopley, acts on behalf of around 130 UK and overseas clients. Its portfolio includes the management of 338 properties and 1,900 tenancies, collecting an annual aggregate rent roll of around £30m.

Sleigh is the second hire in the asset management team this year, which also added chartered surveyor Tom Creer in March. He was previously at Beresford Adams Commercial, also based in Chester.
