PD Properties’ The Lexicon on Manchester’s Mount Street is fully let following a trio of deals.
Recruitment firm Wilson HCG has taken 3,200 sq ft, having relocated from serviced offices at WeWork. Engineering consultancy Banyards has moved into 2,000 sq ft while Reward Finance has also taken 1,800 sq ft. Both Banyards and Reward Finance have relocated from serviced offices.
The lettings were at a headline rent of up to £24.50/sq ft. Avison Young and Colliers acted for PD Properties.
Existing occupants in the 50,000 sq ft office include luxury Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil, Howgate Sable, Appleyard Lees and Malcolm Hollis.
PD Properties has submitted a planning application to convert the top floor of the building into a 1,000 sq ft self-contained office with private roof terrace.
Harry Skinner, associate director at Avison Young, said: “The Lexicon is in an excellent location directly opposite St Peter Square, and has attracted a high calibre of tenants on strong rental terms. It is pleasing to see this building now fully occupied and we look forward to bringing the top floor to market later this year.”
