Leith adds director as head office relocates

The consultant has hired David Forshaw as group planning director and has relocated to Kirkham after buying a three-storey head office building for £300,000.

The business has relocated from Lytham to the new premises at the Crossroads Business Park, having bought a purpose-built office from Croft Goode.

As well as planning consultancy, the group also operates a land investment arm, and a land and property agency arm, Leith Capital Management. It has also recently added construction services to its business.

The group has also added four hires in the last six months of the year. David Forshaw has joined the business as group planning director from the Northern Trust, where he spent nearly 11 years as a senior planning manager.

Graeme Thorpe has also been hired as group planning manager, joining from Burnley Council, while Kirsty Rowe and Kayleigh Buckridge have joined the commercial team and the operations team respectively. The group also has an office in London.

Projects the company has worked include Buckshaw Village, Tabley House nursing home with architect Purcell, and Neild House in Crewe for Cygnet Healthcare.
