Legat Owen secures pre-lets at Apollo Park

Acting on behalf of Total Developments, Legat Owen has secured two further pre-lets at Apollo Park as the first unit on the speculatively-developed industrial site reaches practical completion.

The 12-acre site on University Way features six buildings in total, three of which are now fully let. Freudenberg Filtration Technologies has become the first occupier with its 19,600 sq ft unit reaching practical completion; the company signed up earlier this year at a rent of £6.75/sq ft.

Two pre-lets have also been agreed: Show Business Interiors has taken 35,000 sq ft on an 11-year lease at £6.75/sq ft and is set to relocate from Sandbach.

Bright Grey Retail has also taken 37,000 sq ft on an 11-year lease at £6.50/sq ft. Both of these units are due to complete in the New Year with Pioneer Design & Build as main contractor.

Two further buildings are available at 22,500 sq ft and 12,000 sq ft.

Matthew Pochin of Legat Owen said: “Total Developments recognised the evident demand for quality industrial accommodation in Crewe and its further investment in the town has resulted in this successful series of pre-lets. We anticipate Apollo Park’s high-profile location will continue to attract interest in the remaining available space.”

C4 Consulting is the architect, principal designer, and cost manager for Apollo Park.
