Legat Owen reports 180,000 sq ft of industrial lettings
Three deals have produced a strong start to the year for industrial agency at Chester-based surveyor Legat Owen.
Freeway Health Care, part of the Canadian Prism Medical Group, has taken 50,000 sq ft with Stretton Estates at the Tir Llwyd Industrial Estate in Rhyl.
LM Engineering has signed a 45,000 sq ft lease at Queensway Industrial Estate in Wrexham with a private investor.
US-owned electric switch manufacturer Eaton has signed a new lease for 85,000 sq ft on the Morawelon Industrial Estate in Holyhead.
Steve Wade, director of Legat Owen, said: "We are seeing signs of increasing market activity. There is still a healthy supply of second hand floor space available and both landlord and tenant have to be realistic to conclude a deal."
Lamont was joint agent for Stretton. All three acquiring parties were not represented.
