Lancashire councils recruiting planning team members

Two Lancashire councils are recruiting to strengthen both its planning teams as regeneration in the areas is set to increase.
Hyndburn council is seeking a development control manager on a salary up to £37,555, plus benefits, and senior planner on a twelve-month fixed term contract up to £32,380.
The senior planner would work on developing policies and proposals for the Housing Market Renewal area. Deadline for both positions is Friday 13 March.
Meanwhile, Blackburn and Darwen Borough Council has advertised the following three vacancies:
- Forward planning and transport policy manager – salary up to £47,319
- Development management team leader – salary up to £41,085
- Principal planner – salary up to £36,732
The closing date for all posts is Friday 20 March.
