Our projects include c.8,000 residential units, 19 retail parks and over 9million sq.ft of logistics work. We are leaders on signature projects such as Trafford Waters, Stockport Homes' new HQ; and the world's first inland surfing lake. We work closely as trusted client representatives with clients based across the UK.
The Roles
We are seeking highly motivated and creative people to join our dynamic teams in Manchester and Leeds. You may be from development, consulting or local authority background. You will have a good quality first degree and be RTPI and/or RICS qualified. You will join a thriving, friendly team of people where you are encouraged to work with the business to set your own career goals and aspirations. You need to be business focussed and prepared to be flexible and innovative in helping the company achieve its ambitious grow plans.
1. Associate/Director Residential – reporting directly to the Executive Team we are seeking a proven leader in the residential sector who can take forward our existing portfolio of residential projects. This portfolio is substantial and wide-ranging in scale and location covering planning applications and policy work. You should have experience of EIP and Inquiry work and be able to build and manage project teams for clients. Very good knowledge of all relevant planning processes is essential, particularly 5 year land supply work.
2. Consultant/Senior Retail Planner – reporting to the Director for retail Planning we are seeking people with retail planning skills who are ambitious to develop their career. In this role you will be working directly with clients and will be responsible for running projects. A clear understanding of the impact of planning on retail investments and the retail market is as much a requirement as understanding the technical planning issues covering policy and development control.
3. Consultant / Senior Planner – We are seeking people with a range of general planning skills covering policy and development control who want to continue to learn from working in a diverse work portfolio which may then lead to later specialism Recent experience in residential projects and 5 year land supply work would be an advantage. This is a client facing role and you will be responsible for running specific projects with a client facing role. You will report directly to the relevant Directors.
