Matthews & Goodman LLP is a long established, forward thinking, national firm of commercial property advisers. Established 150 years ago, we work across a wide array of projects, many within the public eye and have an exciting portfolio of new instructions.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Town Planner with 2-3 years private planning consultancy experience, who has achieved full RTPI status.

You will be required to demonstrate a broad portfolio of project work covering areas such as Residential, Retail, Commercial and Mixed-Use as well as demonstrating exposure to all aspects of the planning process.

Specific experience of undertaking Housing Need Appraisals, Sequential Testing and Retail Impact Assessment is preferred.

You will work mainly on projects across the North West with a specific focus on the Greater Merseyside and Cheshire areas. You will join an existing planning team and will report directly to the Head of Planning.

You will be given the opportunity to work closely with key clients and provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of the planning process. You will be encouraged to progress within the organisation and to play an active part in the development of our business.
