Highcross completes Preston letting

Highcross has let a 12,231 sq ft office building at its Fulwood Court scheme in Preston, to Key Retirement Solutions.

The company, which specialises in equity release from private homes, is relocating its head office to Fulwood Court from premises at Port Way, Preston.

Key Retirement Solutions took the office on a ten-year lease. Following the letting, all four office buildings at Fulwood Court are now fully occupied.

Colin Taylor, chief executive of Key Retirement Solutions, said: "We were looking for larger self-contained office space following expansion, and Fulwood Court offered attractive, high quality accommodation, close to local amenities and in a very convenient location for our employees and visitors."

Fulwood Court is located in Fulwood Office Park near J31A and J32 of the M6. The scheme was acquired by Highcross in March 2011 from Northern Britain Property Partnersand other occupiers include the AA and IBM.

Iain Taylor, senior asset manager at Highcross' Northern office, said: "When we acquired the 48,000 sq ft Fulwood Court in March 2011, it was effectively vacant accommodation, and our success in achieving full occupation is a reflection of the scheme's prime location and the quality of the office buildings."
